Breakthrough bleeding while on BCP

I truly need help as my OB is not in the office until Monday.

I got my first PP AF 3 weeks ago & at that point I started to take BCP (same pill I took for years). I wake up this morning with what appears to be my AF with some blood clots (normal for me). I am NOT suppose to get my true AF for another week.

I called the Service line for my OB but they WILL NOT answer birth control questions until the office is open. I called my pharmacist & he said to speak to my OB! So now I am not sure if I should continue taking my BCP (like states on the BCP instruction packet) or stop completely (not be protected) & wait until Monday.

Anyone experience this or can give me insight on what to do?

Same here, but I have not been consistently taking the pill because I keep forgetting! I was off it for so long it has been hard for me to get back into the swing of taking it the same time everyday. I figured this is why my cycle is out of wack, have you been good about taking it everyday?
