There are many cultures where the people just do things because it was done to them. I know mine does. Some I agree with and some I dont.
Suddenly, my mom slapping my face when I got my first period doesnt seem so bad.
These poor girls.

it's horrible that these women have to live in a culture where they have mutilate themselves and their children to combat rape, rather than being able to punish or fend off an attacker.
