breast pain
i have been breast feeding for 3 months. today i woke up and i have a lump and pain in my right breast that dd feeding on does not relieve. i am going to feed her again on that breast but do you think it is an infection? my dr comes in at 9.

could be a glogged milk duct. i had it. hurts and is a hard lump. pump, nurse, anthing to try to drain it. the more you try the more likely it is to clear. i'd call the doc to see if there is anything else to do.

Did you try compressing the lump (kinda hard) while DD is feeding?

I took a hot shower and massaged it under the water really hard. I saw the milk flowing out continuously and after a couple of minutes the lump was gone. It hurts a bit but it works!
