Breastfeeding Books?
My friend read a book on breastfeeding and had a really wonderful experience with it because she felt really knowledgeable and prepared. She doesn't remember the name of the book since her is 7 but she said it was a lifesaver.
Does anyone know or recommend any good books on breastfeeding?

Re: Breastfeeding Books?
i just bought The Nursing Mothers Companian by Kathleen Huggins.. i LOVE it so far..for this reason...
i did not BF my DS 9 1/2 years ago because of body issues and personal issues that effected my feelings on it, i was also 21, and very immature, and hoped id feel differently next time around..i sat and made a list when i found out i was PG (now at 31) of "things i will do differently" with this child..and BF'ing was the first thing on my list..i have not even THOUGHT about doing anything else..and i like feeling in control that i have made this decision and theres nothing else to think about..
This book, reiterates everything i NEED to hear on a daily basis about the benefits of BF'ing..it is in NO WAY on the fence, it reads as if BF'ing is the ONLY option..and i need that...kind of a BF'ing bootcamp :) anyway i HTH!!

Re: Breastfeeding Books?
Several people suggested BFing Made Simple. I actually just ordered it and will let you know how it is!!! It has 7 principles or something.....we'll see!! I did read The ABC's of Breastfeeding and did not like it at all......it put down the whole epidural thing during delivery and discussed the "gentle birth" w/ no drugs.....sorry, no way!!! I hate books that preach!!
