Breastfeeding Moms
For those who have infants sleeping through the night, do you leak at night? Is there anything you do to prevent it?

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
In the beginning I did leak so I had to use a sleep bra with the nursing pads. Seemed to help a bit. Now after 9 months I only leak if I skip a feeding.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
In the beginning i did leak at night, but it wasn't that much. It stopped on it's own, i don't leak at all now during the day or night.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
if i don't wear a bra i will leak, but for some reason as long as i have a bra on i usually don't leak at all. you could wear nursing pads or maybe pump right before you go to bed so there won't be so much milk building up

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
I used to wear a camisole with a built in shelf bra and nursing pads. It was very comfortable.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
I really don't leak much anymore... Unless maybe DD goes 4 - 6 hours without waking which is rare! I use to wear a nursing bra to sleep but no more...

I don't leak at night, but I do leak when I wake b/c she sleeps so long that I'm swollen. I wear a sleeping bra with pads just in case though.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
Just wear the breast pads. Put them in your bra RIGHT before bed, and you will probably need to change them when you wake up.
Or, if your crazy like I was and hated wasting any BM, you can wake up and pump in the middle of the night. My daughter slept 10 hours her first night home and every night after that was 6-8 hours, so if I didnt wake up and pump, I thought I was going to eplode! I stocked up lots of BM that way!

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
I never really had that problem. But I am sure I would hate it.

Ugh! I really don't want to wear a bra at night, but I guess that is the way to go.

Try to find a comfortable cotton one. And definitely without underwire! I don't wear underwire at all because I find them so uncomfortable now. Believe it or not, most of my bras are from walmart! Not the most attractive, but they are the most comfortable ones that I've found.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms
Find a cotton sleep bra, they are very comfy and not constricting at all.
