Breastfeeding questions
Hello. Can someone give me some pointers on what to eat/drink that is good for the baby - especially to help her poop good? Thanks!

Re: Breastfeeding questions
I don't think what you eats affects the baby's pooping habits. BF babies rarely get constipated so if she hasn't gone in awhile then it's probably because she doesn't need to go. As far as what to eat most babies tolerate whatever mom eats just fine but it's always good to eat lots of fruits and veggies. If you find she gets fussy or gassy you might want to cut down on your dairy intake.
HTH!
ETA: Make sure you're drinking plenty of water to keep your milk supply up.

Re: Breastfeeding questions
Thanks so much! So it's okay that she hasn't pooped in almost 24 hours? She's 1 1/2 weeks. She's passing a lot of gas...

Re: Breastfeeding questions
Totally normal sometimes they can go a few days other times several times in one day. I think most babies pass a lot of gas as long as she seems content I don't think you have anything to worry about.
