Breastmilk in bottle warmer?

I know you can't microwave breastmilk, but can you use one of the regular bottle warmers? Or is the bottle in a cup of warm water the better choice?

BTDT moms: Anyone's baby drink BM or formula just at room temp, not warmed?

TIA!

Definitely, microwaves can burn and curdle the milk
the bottle warmer is a low heat and warms it up. Just like warm water in a cup.

lizzy - cross post this to parenting...

i've read on there that you CAN microwave - but to be careful that you shake properly.

i've also read that you can give the baby room temp or refrigerated...that some babies PREFER that...

i'm torn on what to do - get a bottle warmer or go with room temp....

Any BM I had stored in the fridge, I warmed in a cup of warm water and it was just fine. I never used a bottle warmer. DS had his milk at room temp and warmed and he never had a preference. A few months later, he had his milk directly from the fridge chilled because he was screaming his head off out of hunger. That's when I discovered he didn't care about temperature at all!
