Breastpumps - PISA vs hospital grade
I have been using a hospital grade pump since I got home almost 7 weeks ago (Medela Classic). I am currently renting it for $65 a month. I have been very successful with it and am now wondering if I should go buy a pump to have for myself rather than renting.
My question is whether anybody else switched from a hospital grade to the PIS and whether your production decreased as a result of the switch. Does the PIS get as much milk out as the hospital grades?
I would hate to spend the money to buy my own pump only to have things get more difficult for me.

Mine did OK when I switched to a PIS. I think if you feel that your supply is established then you should be OK to switch. If you ever feel like its going down then just up your pumping to get it back up.
