Bridal Shower locations
Hi all! I've done a search on LIW and LIF and called almost every Queens/Nassau place suggested for bridal showers and they are almost all booked for the date I'm looking for. Anyone have some more suggestions...
(so you know I've called Milleridge Inn, Carltun, Deserversky Center, Davenport Press, Donovan's in Bayside, Mim's, Louie's, Perun Angelo, Ivy Cottage, Jonathan's, George Washington Manor). Any help would be appreciated!! I'm slacking on my maid of honor duties apparently!
Thank you!!

I had my rehearsal dinner at the Seventh Steet Cafe in Garden City and it has a great private room.

Do you mean the Seventh Street Cafe?
I had my rehearsal dinner there, too (and my parents' 40th anniversary party). Both were wonderful!

I had mine at Caffe on the Green and it was awesome. It's in Queens right at the foot of the Throgs Neck Bridge.

The only reason I asked is b/c I ALWAYS call it the Garden City Cafe -- and my husband is like "what?!" Then I say "You know, where we had our RD!" And he says, "Um, you mean the Seventh St Cafe?!"
I do it all the time.

If they have a private room, I haven't seen it.
DH and I (and my parents) eat at this restaurant somewhat frequently. The food is absolutely delicious. It's a tad expensive, but worth it. I believe their catering is reasonable, but I can't recall offhand. (I remember looking there for our RD, but went with 7th St Cafe b/c it was so much closer to the church)
My mother loves the decor. I think the bank of the restaurant part is a little dated, but certainly not ugly.
We've always had exceptional service.
ETA - I think the outside of the restaurant is gorgeous! I can't imagine you could go wrong having a party there!

I thought it was really good. I can't remember what I had but I know I enjoyed it. The set up was really nice and it seemed like it would have cost a lot more than it did.

He quoted me at $39.75pp for 3 courses, appetizers, cake and unlimited beer/wine/soda. I think that's an awesome price!! (Right? lol)

Maine Maid Inn Jericho
Lady Anne's Vintage Tea Room in Levittown
Hemingways in Wantagh
56th Fighter Group in Farmingdale
Jackie Reilly's in Bethpage- a bar, but they have a nice party room it's owned by Katie Daley's. Also Katie Daley's come to think of it.
Good luck!

The shower was in a sectioned off part of the restaurant. They had valet parking and walking in you felt like you were going to a nicer place.
