Brightwaters Farms - pumpkin picking
Has anyone gone to Brightwaters Farms for pumpkin picking this year? I was thinking taking the kids this weekend, but want to stay fairly local (i'm in East Islip).
I believe there's a $5 entrance fee...just wanted to hear any feedback - want the kiddies to have fun!
Thanks.

Yes we went last week. It is $5 pp to get in and then you buy tokens $2 each for a ride on pony or bouncy house... I went with 4 kids and all in with pumpkins it cost me $120.
It was nice and I would recommend it.

I'm glad you asked this because I was wondering the same thing. I'm in EI also and I have no idea where this farm even is LOL

I know...checked out their website and they have 12+ acres...crazy!
It's around exit 42 off the SSP. Looks like both Sat & Sun should be sunny...so, that's where I'll be heading!

Re: Brightwaters Farms - pumpkin picking
I went a few weekends ago. We went last year too...we love it. It is close and cute...it's perfect for us (my DD is almost 2.) We are in EI too. Just take sunrise to 5th avenue north, make a left right before southern state and then a right onto manatuck. You go north a bit and the farm is right there! Get there early too--it starts to get pretty packed.

We go every year bc it is close and has lots for the kiddies to do. It is always a good time!
