Bringing your baby around other babies??
I thought my pediatirician said something about not having your newborn around other newborns, but I can't remember. What is the rule of thumb about this?? Thanks!

never heard of this and doesn't make much sense. In the hospital nurseries, babies are surrounded by our newborn babies.

I think maybe the pediatrician meant bringing the newborn around other children, not newborns.
I know my ped recommended against it since older kids are always bringing home whatever viruses are going in school and may not be as careful about being hygenic around the baby.

its around other children.... to be avoided for the first 8 weeks if possible
