Britax Boulevard/Decathlon owners...
Is the headrest thing detachable? It looks like the extra cushion around the sides is detachable but what about the piece around the head?
TIA!
ETA: Anyone use these carseats and DON'T have a LATCH system in their car? If so, does it seem to be secure without the LATCH system. (my infant seat seems to move around without it)

yes it detachable its silly for an older child I would just get the Marathon if its less money I think the cushion is the only difference

My son is only 4 months old so I think I'd need the support for him for now. But I need something bigger b/c he is already outgrowing his infant seat....almost wish I just got the Britax one to begin with.
