Britax Marathon Car seat
Who has the Britax Marathon Car Seat????
Just curious what kind of car do you have it in and do you like it?
From the ratings I have read it is really good, just on the larger side.

Re: Britax Marathon Car seat
I have 2 in my Envoy. Right now, one faces forward, the other is still facing rear, so there isn't much of a middle seat. I really like them, very easy to use, straps never tangle and they are good for up to 65 lbs (my 3 year old will be in it for at least another year).

Re: Britax Marathon Car seat
I have it in the middle seat of my Ford Escape, which really isn't a very large SUV compaired to others. The back seat area is pretty small.
However I would take the carseat taking up my entire backseat anyday if it meant that it was a very safe seat for my daughter. I don't have any other seats to compaire it to, because it's all we've ever had, but I LOVE it!

Re: Britax Marathon Car seat
it is a bigger seat, but i really like it. although sometimes i wonder if the roundabout would have been just as good. right now i have it rear facing in a lexus rx330 and it fits good. i used to have it behind the passenger seat in a honda accord and it fit, but the passenger seat had to be up pretty much all the way.

I had it in my Accord. The front seat had to be all the way up. We have it in our Montero and have no problems. I love that seat!

Uh-oh, what do you mean by didn't fit? I have a Sante Fe and we haven't used it yet, but now I'm worried.

Re: Britax Marathon Car seat
We have 2 in an Acura MDX and 2 in a Honda Civic. They fit in both, but with no room to spare in the Civic.
We have had all good experiences with Marathons. We also have an Evenflo Triumph, and while it serves its purpose it's not as comfy or user friendly.

Re: Britax Marathon Car seat
My SIL has a Grand Cherokee and my kids' seats have been in it easily. I think you are better off with the Marathon over the Roundabout if you have the space bc some kids are over 40 lbs before they are ready to move up. My DS was 43 lbs last summer (3 1/2 yrs). I know you have a girl so it might not be an issue (my daughter is significantly lighter than my DS ever was) but some kids really just dont fit in a Roundabout as they get older.
