Britax/Target - Print invoice not just order confirmation
If you log into your account you can print an actual invoice. Even though the invoice says "not shipped", it is still an invoice which is way better than just an order confirmation..... it should negate the statemebet below. At least I hope it will....
This is what Target.com says......
Confirmed Prices
We cannot confirm the price of an item until your order enters the shipping process nor will we charge your credit card until your order enters the shipping process. (Please note that your Order Acknowledgement means that your order request has been received; it does not mean that your order has been shipped or that the price of an item has been confirmed.)
Mispriced Items
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on our Web site may be mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our shipping procedures.
-If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
-If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

I don't remember that just information before. That's a bunch of BS they just added that.
So what they are saying is that they reserve the right to change their price at "anytime" until they ship it. That's completely unethical. Not sure that's even legal.

what does an invoice look like as opposed to an order confirmation.
I have a page that is an order summary which says "not yet shipped" but lists the price and the shipping address, etc

It says "Invoice for Order#......" Print this page for your records.

I agree its BS, But i figured I'd post it since that is what they have on their site.

They better not even think about changing the price of this.  Their fault...their problem. I reluctantly ordered one for my Mom in NY for when we come up. I kept saying to DH "this is too good to be true..must be a mistake".
