Broadway Shows
Please recommend your favorite broadway or off broadway show that is currently out now. Dh and I have our one year anniversary in april and instead of going away...I was thinking we could do a day in the city...museum, central park, dinner and a show. ...thanks!!!

I told my Dh about it and he wasnt sure if he heard good reviews...but I love the movies Shrek so I bet I like the play too... ok so that's one on the list!! thanks

Avenue Q is hilarious. Raunchy and serious, awesome, saw it twice.
Going to see Wicked in a month.

I am over the top obsessed with In the Heights. I see (or try to see) just about everything on Broadway (and tend to like a lot of it even though I do stay away from the more touristy shows), but there's something about In the Heights... I've seen it four times now, and I'd go again in a flash. It's just that good.

I'm not into musicals but loved Sweeny Todd.
We saw Mary Poppins but that was for the kids.
I've also seen Blue Man Group a ton of times. Always a great time.

It was a couple of years ago. Designed like a chamber piece with Patti Lupone and Michael Cerveris. Great production.

Wicked. I am seeing Avenue Q on Friday I hear its good--but I can get back to you. Everything else I love has closed.  ETS I haven't seen The Heights but I heard that is good too!

I'm going to see Guys and Dolls opening weekend.
Wicked is great great great.
A lot of them are closing, so take a good look at the dates before you decide.
