broker question
I know this will be moved to the HOME board, but I figured at least for now itd get more traffic.
When going with a broker to find a rental apartment how much is the usual fee and will they go to look at apartments with you? Also if you don't end up finding one and decide to not use the broker anymore is there still a fee charged?
TIA

Re: broker question
no fee unless they find you an apartment
the fee can range from 1 months rent - on LI to as high as 15% of the years rent in NYC
I paid 1.5 months rent in Queens
