Bronx Zoo question...
I'm going for the first time tomorrow with my 7 week old and I'm bringing my Bumbleride Indie stroller with our infant car seat strapped inside. My friend told me we'll need to leave the strollers in certain places in order to see some things. I'm being crazy wondering if someone is going to steal my stroller, right? I'm not going to be stranded in the Bronx without a car seat to come home in, am I? Calm me down from these crazy thoughts I'm having please!

Re: Bronx Zoo question...
We went a few weeks ago and from what we walked through only the gorilla area we had to leave our stroller and the carousel (but thats in your view the entire time) i actually skipped the gorilla one trying to get our little one to sleep but i did keep an eye on SIL stroller just in case, its an expensive stroller and they were hesitant as well. Its probably silly of us to feel like this and ive never heard of it happening but i dont think youre crazy for worrying about it, or maybe were both crazy I would still walk through and try not to worry about it. Youll have a great time, we love the bronx zoo!

A few exhibits you need to leave your stroller. I was paranoid as well when I brought my dble why I did was get a lock chain and locked the tires.

I've left the stroller and it was fine. I guess its always a possibility it can be taken, but I wouldn't worry too much.

I use my ski lock. It is small and easy to use.. You can use any lock. I do when I go...

Re: Bronx Zoo question...
honestly... I sometimes feel tempted to steal strollers that I know are $$$$. I see them just abandoned there... I could always leave my $50 stroller.
My bff had her shoes stolen at the central park ice skating rink when we were teens. She had no shoes to go home in!
So, no. I would say be conservative & if you have a pricey stroller, don't bring it!

Re: Bronx Zoo question...
Understandable thought, esp with an $$$ stroller. Do you have a cheaper one you can use? We went, I thought about it but all was well.
