Brooklyn Mommies or mommies who have family friends who live in Brooklyn
I retruned to work last week and I am not happy with my Nanny and want to re-visit the idea of day care. we have checked a couple out but werent to happy and the one's we liked were all booked up. Does anyone recomend any or know anyone who's child attends a good full time day care?
I live in bayridge but would find it conveniant in Bensonhurst and Dyker Heights.

I live in Park Slope and send my DD to a daycare in this area, but we will probably move to Dyker/Bay Ridge in the end of the summer and I think I am going to send my DD to Tutor Time or Warbasse. Warbasse is in Brighton and is actually my preference over Tutor Time, just because my brother and SIL had such great experiences there with their 2 kids.
JenBenMen and Eroxgirl are both Bay Ridge Moms and I know that they will have a wealth of information for you.
There is also a Yahoo Group called bay Ridge parents--I will FM you a link. It is an amazing resource for local parents.

OMG, we pay 1700 a month for DD's daycare in Park Slope--it kills us! Plus they follow the school schedule! Ack!

OMG thats crazy especially since there are closed when school is. Are you a teacher?
I just feel like anything over $1200 is a lot, even though its still financially better for me to work and pay that much.

My place is less expensive than Tutor Time, but that's not why I chose it initially. That's why I stay. 
When I was first searching, I called every place I could find from Bay Ridge to Coney Island. I have a car, I'm not afraid to drive - even on the Belt Parkway. I had a very hard time finding places that took kids at 3 months old. I narrowed it down to 3, not including the place I'm in now. I found them after I went back to work, after I decided that my babysitter was a monster and I hated her.
