Brought James to the allergist yesterday...
We finally made it to the allergist yesterday after 2 cancellations (one due to the stomach virus and another due to snow) to have my little monster tested for food allergies.
Lo and behold....... he tested NEGATIVE for food allergies!  I would have bet my life that he was allergic to dairy, oats, and barley, but the skin prick test came up a clear-as-day negative for dairy, eggs, wheat, oats, barley, and soy. 
The doc prescribed a very strong cream for his rash and after just one application, his face is clear as anything!  We have to use the cream for a week and then go for a follow-up visit to start ruling other things out. Even though the rash is gone just by using the cream, we still have to figure out what's causing it. All I know is that my baby was able to sleep last night without the help of Benedryl.  He actually slept from 7:30 last night until 9 this morning - waking just once for a bottle at 4.
We gave him a bowl of oatmeal last night before bed and another bowl this morning mixed with some applesauce and he was in HEAVEN! I got it on video - he would crack up every time the spoon came near his mouth

What great news!!
That has to be hysterical, him cracking up every time he's near the spoon! I love when Riley goes nuts when she sees the vitamin dropper- it's so adorable!
