James was in the hospital yesterday
As I've mentioned he's been battling the stomach bug since last Friday. Originally, they though it was a reaction to the Pentacil shot he received on Tuesday, but the symptoms went way beyond a typical shot reaction.
He kept dropping weight - he lost 10 ounces in 5 days and was not able to keep anything down (or in  ). He would finish a bottle and then an hour later projectile it up everywhere - it was like a garden hose of digested formula coming out of his mouth. 
All morning yesterday, he just looked "off" - even my mom noticed it (she came over to help me since I've got the bug as well). After he vomited for the 3rd time, we called the doctor and brought him for the third day in a row. The doctor noticed a marked decrease in his movement and said that he was worried, so he told us to go right to the ER ar LIJ in Manhasset.
James received IV fluids and perked up a bit, which was relieving to see. We got home around 11 last night and he was refusing to go to sleep - he just wanted to play and giggle. As much as I love hearing his little voice and wanted to interact with him, I was so done at that point - I laid him down in his crib, gave him some toys to play with and went to sleep myself. DH got up with him when he woke up a 2:30 to eat.
He took 16 ounces of Pedialyte overnight and a 6 ounce formula bottle this morning and thankfully has not thrown it back up yet. DH is home with him today - even though HE now has stomach issues. My IL's are coming over today to help out.
I need this to be over already. I don't think I'll ever be so happy to see a "normal" poop from him in my entire life. 
Please, just think good thoughts for us...

Oh no, I can't believe he is still sick! Poor James, and poor mommy! I really hope he is all better soon
