Brown Hair/Red Highlights
I need a haircut and color pretty badly. I have medium brown hair and was thinking of adding red highlights. Has anyone done this? Any pics? Thoughts?

I've done it and it looks great. Are you thinking about a bright red or more of an auburn color?

i did this years ago - but with more of a "punk" edge to it.
my hair is deep dark brown (almost black) and i did fire engine red highlights. i loved how it looked but it was very high maintenance - so it didnt last too long.
if you go for a more subtle red - like a mahagony - it might not be so demanding.
