Anyone have an awesome recipe for brownies made from scratch?

UPDATE:
I found this recipe on allrecipes.com and went with it since I actually had all the ingredients in the house! They came out GREAT!!!!!!

INGREDIENTS
2 cups white sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butter or margarine
4 eggs

DIRECTIONS
1) Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

2) Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

3) In the large bowl of an electric mixer, cream 1 cup butter or margarine, softened.

4) Add 4 eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

5) Add sugar, cocoa, flour, pecans and chocolate chips and beat until smooth.

6) Spread into greased pan and bake 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center, comes out clean.

Re: Brownies - From Scratch?

This has been my go-to brownie recipe for years...simple, fudgey, and yummy.

It's from the wrapper on Ghirardelli chocolate bars - hence all the references to Ghirardelli products. You don't HAVE to use them, but DO use decent quality chocolate - not that Baker's stuff...

1 bar (4 oz.) Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate baking bar
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips (I usually add extra)

Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour an 8" x 8" pan. In a heavy saucepan melt chocolate bar and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove pan from heat; let cool to room temperature. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, mix well.

In bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold in flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chips. Pour batter in pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean.
