BRU Returns with Gift Receipt

We want to return a Britax carseat that I got at my shower (found it much cheaper online!), and have the gift receipt. 2 questions: it was purchased in April, do they have a return-by limit? Also, how will they refund me? I'm guessing the person paid by credit card, so will I get a gift card?

You'll likely get store credit. As for the return by, I'm not sure. BUT- you could always return it WITHOUT the gift receipt- you'll still get the store credit.

i don't remmeber if there's a length of time to return an item at BRU but it should be stated somewhere on hte receipt. but as for how you would get your money, you would get returned to you as merchandise credit (regardless of how your friend purchased the carseat). that's if you don't exchange it for something else.

I believe that BRU has a 90 day return limit, however their policy on registry returns might be different.

I would suggest trying to return with the gift receipt. If they deny it because of time, go to a different BRU without the receipt to return it and see if that works. I am sure that you won't have a problem at all.

And yes, you will get a gift card with the amount of the return.

I read the whole back of the receipt, and it doesn't say anything about returns w/a gift receipt or a time limit, so who the heck knows. I'll see what happens, but they better return it!

i am almost positive they will just give you a gift card. Its just that BRU will give you the lowest price its at without a receipt

I just returned the high chair from my registry. I had the gift receipt from March and they said that the receipt was "invalid" b/c of the amount of time that passed, but they gave me a store credit.

We returned a carseat that I got for my shower. I can't remember if it was before or after 90 days. I am thinking after.

We had the gift receipt. They just gave us the credit on a GC.
