bruising from oral surgery - how long to go away?
My mother (who is very fair skinned like me) has a bruise on the side of her face from having a tooth extracted two and a half weeks ago. The bruise is still there!
How long will it take to go away? She had a check up last week and they said not to worry about it. It sort of looks like it is fading, but it seems like an awfully long time to have a bruise -- plus it's on her face, so she's self-conscious about it.
Any idea? I don't remember bruising this long when I had my wisdom teeth out...

that is very normal. Is it yellow yet? If so it should go away any day now.

2.5 weeks seems like a long time to me. I would call the Doc
