Bruno is finally 5 lbs! UPDATED
It took a year, but my little Chihuahua is finally 5 lbs! Of course now this means he has to go for the snippy-snip, but I am so glad he got to 5 lbs. I was getting worried that he might have lasting health issues.
UPDATE: Bruno is out of surgery & doing OK. He is still pretty groggy from the anesthesia, but he is OK. I get so nervous putting the smaller dogs under anesthesia - it is so hard on their little systems.
So he has to stay overnight & is not 100% recovered yet even though he has been out of surgery for quite some time. If you guys can just send some good vibes to him until I can pick him up tomorrow I'd appreciate it.

Hi all: Bruno is home & has been sleeping most of last night. He finally was awake this morning, and seems to be back to his ol self. He is a little upset with me though - I don't think he liked being in the hospital overnight. I went to give him a kiss on his nose like I always do & he kept turning his head so I could not get his nose Oh well, hopefully he will get over it.
