BTDT - Cord around babies neck at 30 weeks

My Dr. assures me that there is a 99% chance that everything will be fine. I'm still scared though. I am 30 weeks and the perinatologist is going to see me weekly to monitor the situation. In the meantime, he said to call if movement changes. I'm scared. Any experience? TIA

i delivered at 33w from pre-eclampsia and the baby was born with the cord around her neck. it was so insignificant that no one ever told me and i found out from the hospital paperwork (i was under general anesthesia). i wouldn't be too concerned.

my daughter was born last october with the cord around her neck. after 3hrs of pushing, they had noticed & determined that its why the delivery took so long. everytime i had pushed, she would go back b/c of the cord. she was fine though, a little blue but had great lungs & cried right away & she is a great, active 1yr old now :)

My DS was born at 39 wks via c-section and when he was out, I heard the doc say "cord wrapped lightly around once" - didn't know it til that point and he was fine.
