BTDT csection moms
Tomorrow will be two weeks since my Csection. This am I woke up and my incision was oozing to the point that my undies were pretty soaked. Since then I have had gauze on the spot that is oozing and it doesnt seem to be slowing much.
Should I call? My incision was healing so nicely and there are parts that look completely healed already

if I was oozing 2 weeks I would definitely call the Dr to see what they say.

I think any oozing is an infection!

Re: BTDT csection moms
Definitely call. This happened to me and they needed to close me up with a nitrate stick or whatever it was called. But it wasn't a huge deal. It hurt a tiny bit when they did it, but it helped so much!

Re: BTDT csection moms
I would definately call. Mine only oozed a tiny bit at one spot, but not enough to soak anything. Hope it's nothing

Re: BTDT csection moms
my incision oozed as well, but it was infected. I would def call the doc and see if they want you to come in and have it checked out.

Re: BTDT csection moms
I had oozing earlier this week and it was all red around the incision. I called and went in to get it checked out. Turns out I have a yeast infection on the skin around it (gross ), but the incision itself is fine. I got a prescription for a cream to put on it.

Re: BTDT csection moms
My incision was red and it wasn't oozing much. When I went to the Dr last week, she told me to clean it 2x a day for a week with peroxide to prevent infection.

Re: BTDT csection moms
Ok I will call first thing tomorrow. The baby needed to eat and be changed and by the time I checked back on here the drs office was closed for the day.
I had DH bring me home gauze and tape so I could at least keep it clean and dry until the am.

Re: BTDT csection moms
Call your doctor asap! I had a major problem like this and I ended up with puss filled blistered. It was an allergic reaction to the steri-stips they used. You need to be seen. Do not let any nurse tell you this is okay. Say you want the doctor to look at it.
