BTDT Moms: Boppy or My Breast Friend?
I'm due with my first child in July. I registered for the My Breast Friend pillow (I'm planning on breast feeding) but would love some feedback on both. Any preferences? Thanks!

Are you going to BF?
I BF and use the Boppy and have no problems with it at all. I know a lot of people who BF prefer My Breast Friend though. It's definitely a personal preference. I really like the Boppy bc I can sit him up in it and lay him in it... you can't do that with My Breast Friend.

I have both. I liked the my breast friend pillow MUCH better to breastfeed.
I used the boppy for lounging the baby though and when people came over, they'd hold the baby on the boppy. DH used the boppy all the time.
We just brought the boppy out again and 2yo DS LOVES using the boppy as a pillow.
Personally I'd get both.

ITA. I used both. My breast friend is hands down the best for breast feeding! The boppy is good for so many things too though.

I have both....definitely the BOPPY....I never used the Breast friend as it was bulkier and not very comfortable!

I LOVED the Brest Friend for BFing. I felt it was much more comfortable and supportive when nursing.
The Boppy was definitely useful as well though. DD loved being propped up in there. I just didn't like it as much for nursing.

i used the full body boppy pillow.
my breast friend was never comfortable for me, you have to have a really thin frame to fit inside of it, and with that being said- i'm a thin person!

I had both...at the beginning you could not take away the Breast Friend from me. That bad boy was strapped on all day long! It was amazing how much it truly helped. As she got older like at around 4-5 months...we stopped using the Breast Friend and started using the Boppy for actual BFing and not just to lay her on. I think having both is the way to go. You can use the Boppy to prop your DC up or pay on.

That's weird...FYI-The Breast Friend's straps are adjustable....i definitely do not have a small frame and it fit perfectly. There is a velcro part to it you can adjust around your waist.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the My Brest Friend....when DD1 was born I was so afraid that I was going to drop her that even when I wasnt feeding her I would wear it while walking around with her in my arms. I would dance around with her alot and it kept my arms from getting fatigued.
It got tons of use with DD2 as well (but not as much since this time around I wasnt as scared that I was going to drop the baby LOL)

It fit me well too. It is adjustable for many sizes!
Another thing that I forgot about is the breast friend has padding in the back for support, when I first switched from the boppy my back felt so much better. It supports your LO because of the strap and you don't have all of the pressure on your back too.

ITA..I have both, but if you only want to get one then I would definitely get the my breast friend

My breast friend without a doubt...even though the name makes me want to boycott. I loved the way you could stand up with the pillow attached, it has a little bump to elevate the babys head. Sooo much better than the boppy IMO

I had the Boppy for BF but that is only b/c that is what I had, I only registered for one... I have had no problems with the boppy! We love it!
