BTDT Mom's, can you check my list
I packed for the hospital and I combined things from doing a search on here and reading some things on the internet. I don't want to go nuts because I figure god willing I go natural, it will just be 2-days.
Thanks
-(1) Zip up Hoodie -(2) PJ's (Really just Yoga pants and tanks) -(2) Sports Bras -Socks -Underwear -Flip Flops -Toiletries -Towel -My Own Pillow -Overnight pads just in case I hate the hospital ones -Pillow or babybook for baby foot print -Coming home outfit for baby -(2) baby blankets - 1 for baby coming home and 1 for DH to bring home to the dog prior to bringing home baby so the babies scent is on it. -Camera and Cell phone w/chargers -Insurance info & Ped office info
As far as coming home outfit for me, I am playing by ear. Might wear what I walk into the hospital with or I will just have DH bring me something the day he picks us up.

Unless you really feel strongly about having the footprint on the pillow or in the book, I wouldn't bring that. They usually do the baby's first footprints onto a piece of paper and give it to you. That's what I have for my three.
If you're planning on breastfeeding I would bring 1 or 2 really supportive sport-syle nursing bras.
Also bring granny-panties.... I was surprised by the amount of blood and the hugeness of the pad. If I hadn't had granny panties I would have looked like I was waddling around in a loaded diaper.
Good luck!!!!!!

I'd bring a nightgown instead of PJs--they are checking down there, and it's much easier to lift the nightgown up.

We got this adorable baby pillow where you write the birthdate, name, etc.. on so we wanted to have the footprint on there as a keepsake.
Got the granny panties ready to go
Thanks

Yes to these!!
My own snacks saved me in the middle of the night when I was awake.
My lips were so dry! Keep this handy.
If you bring your own pillow, don't use a white pillow case. Bring a colored case so housekeeping doesn't get them mixed up.
My feet were so swollen. I brought flip flops 2 size bigger (same with slippers).
I also brought camomile tea to help with gassiness and upset stomach.
