BTDT Moms: Crawling & Walking
DDs are rolling and scooting non-stop. I hear from everyone with ONE - just wait until they start crawling and walking!
BTDT moms - what is it really like? Any stories or advice you'd care to share?

Re: BTDT Moms: Crawling & Walking
My twins are identical. They basically did everything at exactly the same time..give or take a day or two (literally). The only milestone that was met by one twin A LOT earlier than the other was "crawling" (commando style)......
My DD Alexis has always been the "grass is always greener" type of child. She always wanted what her sister had. Even if she had the same thing. I could put the both of them down on the floor at 5/6 months of age with the same toy...Jaedyn would happily lay on her back and inspect this toy for HOURS. Alexis was OK until she realized that her sister had something that looked far more entertaining...she would then roll herself over onto her stomach..and then literally grunt and grown until she managed to pull herself over to where her sister was so she could steal the toy..she would then roll away laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: BTDT Moms: Crawling & Walking
My boys did everything about a month apart. They started crawling late, around 10 months, so I could not wait for them to be able to get somewhere without me lifting them.
When they started walking iat 14 and 16 months it was also a big relief. I didn't have to carry them everywhere etc, but it does get old fast. My boys didn't move that fast for a while, they were slow and steady walkers so it made the transition easier.
They do tend to be like magnets though, either stuck together or going in different directions, but mainly together.

That's good to know, thanks!
