BTDT Moms- Double Strollers Question
I will be watching a 3 month old along with my 11 month old DD and want to get a double stroller to take them on walks. (preferably a side by side) I was looking at this one: InStep Suburban Safari 2 Double Jogging Stroller
Question - People who reviewed it said they used it with their infants but the manufacturer says min. 6 months old. Any experience with this model or brand? What do you think? Safe for both a 3 month old and 11month old? Any recommendations (inexpensive) are appreciated. TIA!!

Re: BTDT Moms- Double Strollers Question
I have a baby jogger performance (expensive, but awesome!). I put my then 4 month old in it for walks using the snuzzler thing and she was fine. I do love my Maclaren twin...its not awesome for uneven surfaces, but its really good for stores, etc. and places with nice even roads.
I don't have a good suggestion for an inexpensive double jogger, but I would try craigslist. I have seen some great deals on doubles that are lightly used. If you are nervous about the seat support for a young baby, I would buy the snuzzler thing. I found it really helped keep her supported and she seemed cozy in it!
Sorry I wasn't more help!

Re: BTDT Moms- Double Strollers Question
I do not have any experience wit this stroller, but I have the City Mini double stroller. I bought it when my DC were 6 months and 18 months. Now they are 22 months and 10 months. My DC love it and they even slept in it for their naps during this summer when we were on vacation in North Carolina and Maine.

Re: BTDT Moms- Double Strollers Question
I have the In Step Safari, and I used it when they were younger than 6 months - I think I got it when they were around 3-4 months old. The seats recline far back, so I don't see why 6 months would be the min. age. I think it would be just fine for a 3 month old and 11 month old. I really like - its a very smooth ride. However, it is very heavy (if you are planning on taking it in and out of the car) and the sun shade sucks. I bought a protect-a-bub sunshade to attach over the existing one.
ETA: here's a pic of them in it - it is very cozy. This was in April on one of those really hot days, so they were around 4 months old.

Thanks everyone. Glad the InStep worked out for young babies. That's the one I'm leaning towards.
