BTDT moms... movement?

I'm preggo with #2 and getting anxious that I'm really not feeling much movement at all I don't think. I'm almost 18 weeks. How often do you feel flutters? (With my first DS, I definitely remember feeling flutters at 17 weeks, so I thought with #2 I'd be feeling more by now?).

TIA

don't worry, its very possible that you have an anterior placenta! that would prevent you from constantly feeling movement Chat Icon

Im right there with you, I think im 18w 4 days with #2 and still nothing. I feel flutters occasionally so I know something is in there, but no kicks. With DS i felt kicks very early, 16w. Waiting patiently..

I felt flutters at 18 weeks and definite movement at 19 weeks. I think it can depend on so many things though!!

I have an anterior placenta. I did feel kicks all of a sudden at 22 weeks. Then, they went away (kid probably moved).

As your Gyn.

One of my twins has an anterior placenta and it definitely effected my feelings early on. But now at 24 weeks nothing can cushion the kicks! Give it some time!

Re: BTDT moms... movement?

I'm pregnant with #2 also, and am only now starting to feel movement at 23.5 weeks.

I do have anterior placenta though and am actually surprised I'm feeling movement this early considering I also had it with DD and didn't feel any movement until 27 weeks with her.

Re: BTDT moms... movement?

WIth my first pregnancy I started feeling movement at 18 weeks. With my second, I believe around 14 or 15. With my last pregnancy I started feeling flutters at around 13 weeks, I think.
