BTDT Moms of children who had tubes put in their DC's ear...

I think this is where we are heading right now. Both the ENT and I feel that this is the best way to handle DC's reoccurring ear infections since the fluid won't drain. Did you go get a second opinion? Did they take the adenoids out as a preventative measure? How was the recovery and recovery time?

Christopher hasn't, but a good friend of mine's DD had hers out when she was 4.

She said that the procedures were minimal and that it 110% helped with the ear infections as well as her speech (which I don't think is an issue with your DC )

Her little con artist was feeling good enough to get her parents to take her to get her ears pierced the morning she left the hospital

Both my kids have tubes, best decision we made.
