BTDT moms of toddler boys- freaking when urinating?
DS has begun to completely freak out when he pees in the tub. (Basically the only time when he actually sees it coming out of him.) He sees it, and begins crying and stops himself. Then he climbs out of the tub and onto the toilet. (Which you'd think was good.) But then he doesn't pee on the potty.
So there he is, completely soapy, needing to pee and just standing in the bathroom. He won't go back in the tub, he won't pee.
DH is now showing DS how to go on the potty, so I hope he realizes that this is normal.
Has this freak out happened to anybody else? TIA!!!

Re: BTDT moms of toddler boys- freaking when urinating?
Well Brooke isn't a boy but she freaked out when she peed herself one time!
We were outside playing in their little pool. I was out of swim diapers and since we were at home I decided to put her in just her swim suit with no diaper. She was standing and playing outside the pool and she peed herself. She started screaming like someone was trying to kill her. Even my DH came running to help her(which he doesn't normally do when I am watching her). She was so scared. This happened a month or 2 ago when she was around 18-19 months old. She has yet to see herself pee(or feel it go down her legs, which is what I think scared her) since.
