Question about toddler beds for BTDT moms...

How old were you able to use your toddler bed until? Is it worth it to spend $100 on a toddler bed, or should we just go right to a regular twin?

She isn't even remotely trying to get out of her crib. She doesn't know that you can do that. But we were thinking of getting her a big girl bed for Christmas.

go for the twin. much more comfortable for them!

At your stage, if she is still in her crib and not climbing out, when you do move her to a bed, I would go with twin.

We ended up having to move DS to a toddler bed when he was 22 months because of his sister. He is still in it, and will be until his sister needs it, at which time we'll move him to a twin (I guess he'll be around 4, maybe even 5).

we'll only be using the toddler version from the convertible crib we got...she is such a restless sleeper and I'm afraid if I go right into a twin, she will fall.

But we may set up the twin when we convert to the toddler so she gets used to it.

IMO, a toddler bed is a waste of money.
