BTDT Moms? Peg Perego Infant Carrier
Anyone have this? We want it bc it was highly recommended as being ultra safe, and it attaches easily to the Bugaboo, but I've also heard that its very heavy and not positioned comfortably for a baby...any first hand knowledge with it???

Keep in mind it has been 4 years since I had a peg perego, but I thought it was great. for me yes it was heavy but i am weak! the sip one i got is different from the old one, it looks like it has more safety features and is softer for baby. i looked at some of the other ones and i dont think they compare. i would rather it be heavier and well made that i know the baby is safe and secure in it. as for comfort he was always happy in it, falling asleep in it, neck never in a weird position.

Great, yah obviously I'm getting the SIP one, and I do agree with it being a bit more heavy therefore a bit more durable and secure.... Thanks

Re: BTDT Moms? Peg Perego Infant Carrier
my sister has the newer dark gray peg perego - it has extra padding around the head which makes it the best rated for safety. It weighs a TON...!!! Even when my niece was a newborn it was still heavy - now she just leaves it in the car *as for comfort, my niece is fine it in... recently she started screaming in the car, but I don't think it has anything to do with the carrier
