BTDT Moms: Post Partum Bleeding

Did any of you have moderate to heavier PP bleeding? When I was discharged from the hospital, the nurse told me my bleeding will be moderate to a heavy-flow period for about 4 days, and then it will taper off. It's been over a week, and it still feels like a moderate period. There are times when it's light or doesn't bleed at all, but I'm still bleeding a fair amount. I spoke to a nurse from my OB's office today, and she said that it's fine as long as I'm not saturating a pad within an hour or having clots bigger than a plum (both which I have absolutely no problem with). I am just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience after giving birth--it makes me a little nervous!

I was bleeding a lot for awhile...I would say about 3 weeks of it being heavy, then it went to moderate, then it went to spotting, and when that was all over after about 6 weeks, I got my period! oh the fun!! I would say it's normal, because I was bleeding for awhile

i had heavy bleeding for like 10-12 pp!

Heavy bleeding for 4 weeks... still bleeding here and there until 6 weeks. I was bleeding a few days ago again at 8 weeks but I have no clue why. It definitely wasn't my period. But my OB said this is all very normal.
