So i interviewed 2 pediatricians offices, the first one:

1) There are three doctors
their is no separate room for well visits/babies and sick children, pretty much they stick u in one for the rooms until ur app't if there are sick children in the waiting room and they have u come in 1st thing in the AM.
As far as immunizations, they give 2 shots per visit starting at one month old and then after in one month intervals so he'll be getting 2 shots from 1 month-7 months. plus since i am not doing the Heb B at birth, they will be added on to 3 of the visits/months so the schedule would be 3 shots one month, 2 shots the next, etc until around 7 months, i just dont know how i feel about him getting shots every month
the doctor i met with was nice enough but i think i made him a little nervous with my questions, he didn't agree with pushing some of the vaccinations up (like not doing the MMR at 1 1/2) but told me its ultimately my decision and seemed to be willing to work with me and my DH

and the second one
2) The second peds office has 5 doctor and will be adding a 6th this summer,
they have two separate offices, one for only well baby visits and one for sick kids. They follow the 2, 4 and 6 month schedule for immunizations and have a 3 in 1 shot that is the Heb B, DPT and i think polio combined, but they also give 2 other shots at the visit, so its 3 shots per visit but 5 vaccination's altogether, so i am wondering if that is just to much for their little bodies that young, plus with so many doctors it'll be hard to establish a relationship with one, however the doctor i met with today was so nice, i really liked him even though he didn't seem flexible with the immunizations and questioned some of my reasonings like why i didn't want to give the chicken pox shot at 1 years of age (b/c its not a big deal to me if my child gets it)
So i don't know how to choose, any advice/experiences would be welcomedChat Icon Sorry its so long
