BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
I have 23 days to go till Brody is born!!!
WIth Ava, I was a week overdue, had a failed induction and an emergency c-section.
Since this one is planned, and I will not be in medically induced labor for 2 days before, I am thinking this c-section is going to be easier??!! Am I crazy, or did you find the second and subsequent c-sections less painful and easier to recover from??

Re: BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
I had the same thing 2x... my son was posterior--laying on my broken spine and 1 ounce shy of 8 pounds, after 30 hours they blessed me with a c-section. My dd--I walked in 10 centimeters dilated and was knocked out for a emergency... I shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiited this time. Well...i went into labor before my date scheduled.never felt a contraction---and I laughed through the whole thing. I SWEAR********** it will be ok!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear! it will be cake. As far as recovery I never had a issue..even after the twins.

My 2nd was WAAAAAAAAAAY more easier and less painful. I was walking around 6 hours after having DD, while with DS I was in agony the first night.

Re: BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
With my first, I was in labor all night and only made it to 8 cm and had to have a c-section. I basically felt like crap for a good week and a half after she was born. My son was a scheudled c-section and I was walking around within hours. I felt better on the day of his c-section than I did 2 weeks after my daighter. Needless to say, the 2nd was MUCH easier for me, not sure if it had to do with being the first or that I was in labor.

Re: BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
I thought it was mostly the same--recovery not fun either time. My DH thinks I did a lot better the second time. What made the 2nd one SO much better was knowing what to expect, so I have to say, I freaked out a lot less during the surgery.

Re: BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
My 2nd surgery was far more painful. I have no idea why but I was actually put out at one point because the pain was so bad and I have a high tolerance for pain. My recovery was much easier this time but my recovery the first time was pretty easy too.

Re: BTDT Moms that had 2 or more c-section
I had a better experience with my first C then I did with my second. After I had Julia I was up and out of bed right away with out any problems, walking all over the hospital. After I had Todd Jr, it was so hard for me to get out of the hospital bed, and I was in such pain that I could only go for a few steps around my room, by the 4th day it got a little bit better, but I was sore!!
I was shocked cause a lot of my friends who had there second c-section said it was a lot easier and they felt better quicker, not the case for me.
ETA: I thought I was going to DIE when I coughed or sneezed, the staples killed!!.....
