BTDT moms that have had a scheduled c section
Im going to be having a scheduled c section with baby number two. My first baby was delievered via c section. Now im just curious what happens if your water breaks BEFORE your c section date? do they just give you the epi and still perform the c section? I just want to be mentally prepared in case this happens to me

I had planned c-sections with both my pregnancies. They told me if my water broke (which it did not) before the date they would just deliver the baby on the day. You will have a spinal and not an epi with a planned c. Pretty much the same feeling (needle in back) but they are different.

I had a c-section and just wanted to add that the spinal didn't take for me- not enough fluid or something- so i had an epi and then the section
