BTDT moms- video monitors
Hey ladies, prego question here. I'm wondering if any of you have used the summer video monitor and can tell me what you think of it. The one I'm looking at is the complete coverage one- with a flat screen tv unit and a handheld unit.

I see alot of mixed reviews on BRU and it's expensive so I want to make sure it's worth it before we buy it.
If you have another video monitor, please share your review of it.

I have the same one. A lot of people complained because of the battery dying. We've had ours for 3 years and are just starting to have a problem. For DC #2, we have to order another battery which is about $20 from the company.
They tell you to not have the handheld plugged in all the time and that will help your battery life. It's basically like the cell phone batteries.

I use a summer video monitor. Its not that exact monitor, but we are pretty happy with it. We have on 2 occasion seen someone else's child, when one camera in Ds room was off.

We have this one too and it's great. It's digital so you don't have to worry about seeing anyone else's child (or someone seeing yours). The zoom feature is great bc I zoom in on my DS' belly to make sure he's breathing (even though I have the angel care monitor, i'm paranoid about this) and i like that you can move the camera bc my DS is ALL OVER the crib, he's like a clock, rotates at least twice a night. I recommend it. It's the Summer Best Handheld Monitor.
