BTDT Moms: Which clothes did you keep/store and which did you donate/sell?

DD is just over 1 and we're not planning on having another for a while. I stored most of her 1st year of clothes, but now I am wondering--is it worth it? Should I try selling some and donating others? In your experience, which clothes sell the best? Would it be worth it to keep Carter's onesies--clean of course.

I could use some feedback as I am doing a MASSIVE cleaning/organizing sweep of my home.

I'm saving almost everything. We will have another baby someday. I did toss stuff that was stained, ripped, etc.

I did sell duplicates and/or things that just aren't my taste.

From an ebay seller's mentality, its so hard for me to do this. I sell everything I can get my hands on (my clothes & DH's too). So that being said, anything New With Tags sell the best. Also, its gotta be a good brand. Sorry, gerber won't cut it. Carters sometimes, but if you have Little Me, etc they will sell better. Have a ton of onsies, my advice, sell as a lot. Its an easy way to make a couple of bucks in one lump some.

i saved EVERYTHING and tossed the stained items.

once we found out we were having a girl i gave all my boy things to friends.

now with DD i am still saving everything and i have a few friends who are pregnant and waiting to find out the sex, so once they know i will divey it up or give it someone who needs it.

i have tried selling some of her things... and i will continue to try to sell some of the name brand outfits...

I just did a major cleaning out, since we are having a girl in a few weeks. I gave away just about all his clothes to friends (Lauren we have to get together ) and I saved the gender neutral stuff.

I told DH, if we ever have another kid, and it's a boy, it won't be for a few years and by then I'm going to want all new stuff anyway!

I saved everything as long as it wasnt stained or I really didnt like the outfit. If DS#1 didnt wear it since it wasnt his style (my style) then I wasnt putting DS#2 in it

I gave away or sold to OUAC all but sentimental stuff. I kept-preemie outfits, outfits that I really loved, First Christmas, Easter outfits etc

I keep the stuff I love - The kid has a better wardrobe than DH and I put together - beautiful sweaters and stuff .....and the stuff that was in good condition -

I saved everything...very few pieces of her clothing was stained or damaged (literally, maybe like 10 things in 2.5 years). If it was an outfit I didn't love, I didn't save it, but I rarely have an outfit I don't love

We'll see next week if this baby is another girl or a boy, if it's a boy I'll divide the stuff up between friends. If it's a girl, she'll be born ~2 weeks before DD was, so the sizing should be perfect for a while

Good question!! Right now I have saved everything, but I'm thinking about selling off some things just to thin it out. I'm sure I will want to buy more things if we actually have another and if we don't have another I don't want the stuff to sit up there for years before I go through it!! Plus he just outgrew all his 18-24 months Gap pants that are practically new... I'm thinking those would sell easily!!

I saved pretty much everything. I am having another girl, but in a different season so I will need some new things. I am going to start going through things and get rid of the stuff that I think is just ok or never liked to begin with.

I saved just about everything, unless I didn't like it the 1st time. Now DS2 has worn a lot of DS #1's things
