BTDT Mom's Who delivered prematurely...
HOw early did you go and how long was your DC in the hospital after you left? This is a fear of mine and I just need to hear from some mom's who already went thru it...annd knw it will be ok..TIA!!

35 weeks with twins... they were nicu'd 9 days due to TTTS.

All of my kids have been early....
My DS was between 3 & 4 weeks early..
My Twins were exactly 5 weeks early...
My eldest daughter was exactly 4 weeks early...
All were born Naturally...
Only the twins required an extended hospital stay...The pediatrician had them stay for a week...strictly as a precaution....

35.4 weeks with twins
Declan was in NICU for 7 days
Ronan in NICU for 9 days
both for respiratory issues and jaundice
No lasting issues

I went into labor at 34 weeks and was hospitalized and put on magnesium drip and given steroid injections, then went home after 1 week on meds, then made it 1 more week and had emergency c-section at 36 weeks 3 days. I had GD and amniotic fluid became very high by 34 weeks. DS did not have to go into the NICU and I went home with DS on the 4th day.

My SIL delivered her first at 33 weeks and her second at 32 weeks (maybe it was 31 weeks, I can't remember) Her first remained in NICU for about 2 weeks. Her second came home after a few days, even though she was earlier.
The first needed to be on breathing tubes for a week or so and the earlier child needed nothing.

My daughter was born at 32 weeks. She was in the NICU 9-10 days because she was on IV antibiotics. The doctors have no idea why she came so early because she was doing real well. The antibiotics were a precaution. Now she's 7 years old.

I was induced at 37 weeks. We were originally in the hospital for 2 days but DD was readmitted for 3 days due to Jaundice. She had to be under the lights for those 3 days.

Same here - I delivered 35w2d. DD came home with us 4 days later (I had a C-section). She did not need to be in the NICU.
I was given steroids at 28 weeks however.

I deliver at 29 weeks and 5 days I discovered I had a short cervix at 22 weeks was admit to the hospitial at 27 weeks I developed preclampsia and had Ariana at 29 weeks she stay in the hiospitial for 171 day due to breathing issues she had really bad lungs they gat me the shot to help with lungs did not work. When she was born she weighed 2lbs and 1oz today she weighs 21lbs. She is doing great.

DS2 was born 6 1/2 weeks early. He was in the NICU for a week due to breathing issues (he was breathing too hard). He is now 6 months old, weighs 13 lbs, 11 ounces and is doing great
