btdt moms who took dc to disney...

we are going from sat-sat. what day would you do a character dinner? we are thinking tue or wend so its mid week and by then we prob want a lazy day. im not sure what to do. We dont want to do the night we get there b/c who knows how we will be after the flight

never did a character dinner but did character breakfasts. we did them on days we were going to mk. i think both times was a tuesday

I would do it mid to later in the week. My DD is very outgoing and we went with her at 15 months. She hugs everyone at that time. She LOVED the characters from 3 feet away and farther - she would run to the greetings and wave and clap etc. The minute we got up there for a photo she would hide or bury her face and cry. We got there on Sat. By Tuesday or wed she was running up and hugging them all and giving Minnie kisses on her nose. So you might want to wait a few days to see how your DC will react or warm up since they are so big.

Wednesday sounds like a great time or later to do it!

This trip we are doing one the night we get there but it is the cinderella one at 1900 park fare b.c DD LOVES cinderella and she wasn't scared of the face characters last time only the head ones (mickey, goofy etc). Otherwise we are doing the rest (chef mickey's, Akershus, and Crystal palace) Wed and later.
