Moms who took their infants to Disney
I know these have probably been asked a million times before, so forgive me. We're taking DD there for the first time in August. She'll be 7 months. We've been there many times alone but never with an infant.
What exactly can they do there?
Besides getting their picture with the characters, what rides are they allowed to go on?
How does the baby swap work?
What do they have in the baby care stations?
Thanks!

Re: Moms who took their infants to Disney
We took our son when he was 9 months old. The things a baby that young can do are limited, but not unheard of. He went on The Haunted Mansion (had no idea he was supposed to be scared, LOL), Peter pan, Snow White, A Small World (most things in Fantasy Land), most shows in the MK, MGM and Animal Kingdom. He also had a ball crawling around in The Boneyard in the AK.
I have no idea what a baby swap is, so I'm no help there!
The only baby care stations I saw in the parks were the changing tables in the restrooms, but I didn't really look. I'm kind of low maintenance in that way and will change my kid on a park bench if no one is offended.

I was actually wondering the same thing myself. We are taking my son who is 7 in Oct because I just have to take him there but my DD will be 8/9 months.

My DH said there is a way for parents to ride rides the baby can't go on. On will go on while the other holds the baby. Then when the ride is over they will hand off the baby to the parent that just went on and then the other parent will ride.
I was wondering how this worked and if it was available on most rides.

It is available on most rides. THere are several babay care stations in the aprks, off hand I can't remember where they are though. There is one in Epcot where world showcase begins.

Re: Moms who took their infants to Disney
We went to Disney when DS ws 11 months. There wasn't many things we could do with him. He sat in his stroller most of the time.
We were with another couple, so we didnt have to worry about the child swap on lines, but it is available on most (1 parent waits in a side area and will get on the ride when the other parent gets off without having to wait inline 2x).
