BTDT Moms who used the Arms Reach co-sleeper
Did you find that it was difficult to make the bed because it attaches to your mattress? What if you frequent the bathroom at nighttime - could you get out easily without disturbing the baby?
TIA!!!

Re: BTDT Moms who used the Arms Reach co-sleeper
I had the mini co-sleeper and it was right next to my bed but not attached. It was right against the bed, and it had a little frame so a little baby would not fall out of it and you can't roll onto the baby (You would fall off the bed). I had the co-sleeper right by my pillow area, so it didn't interfere with me getting up. Oh how I miss those days...it was like he was sleeping right next to me

I had a newborn baby, I didn't care about making the bed.
I use a Duvet anyway, so I just let it hang down lower on one side.

Not attaching it is okay? I assume that the side is high enough that the baby won't fall out, right?
I'm just debating whether or not I should just get a bassinet then.... What do you think?

i got the co-sleeper for DD#1 but never got to use it as intended because she was colicky and kept DH up all night (one of us needed sleep), so she wound up going straight to her crib. DD#2 is a completely different animal and at 7 weeks she's still in our room (i am going to start putting her in the crib soon though).
the reason i got the co-sleeper over the bassinet was it's portable like the pack n play. this year while traveling for the holidays we packed the co-sleeper over the pack n play because DD#2 was only a few weeks old. it worked out great for us...

I never had it attached to the bed. I just put down the one side and had it up against my bed. By the time he could really move, it was moved into his crib.
