BTDT Moms...Stomach Bugs...What Do I Do?
Okay you might of remembered i posted about Jack throwing up on Monday and Tuesday. So the doctor told me to start giving him an ounce of pedolyte every 1/2 hour or so for a bit and then slowly start reintroducing formula and food. Well I did that i thought....last night he throws up all his bottle and food i gave him. Not only that but now Kevin started throwing up (not as much) and going the big D the other way. I also got the bug and was throwing up and having the other but am slowly recovring.
So after the fiasco last night I gave them an ounce of pedolyte and 4 ounces of formula this morning. I don't plan on giving them any baby food today, but should i just slowly increase the formula intake??? How long would you wait to start giving them food again. They seem to be in good spirits and no fever with this at all.
Thanks

I would keep the Pedialyte in the bottle the whole day. If they seem to be more chipper later around 2 or 3 I would attempt giving them more formula. You don't want to give them to much formula to soon. And they are getting all the good stuff from the Pedialyte.

I think you are giving too much formula too soon. Slowly introduce the formula. We did an once of formula to 2-3 ozs. of pedialyte. When I srated to see an improvement I slowly did half ana half, they more formula than the pedialyte till yoy slowly wean him off the pedialyte

I would minimize the formula. Stick with the pedia lyte. They can go awhile without the formula.
