BTDT: Tubes in the ears recovery - No food today at all.. anyone ?? help?
She won't eat 
A nurse friend suggested it may be because her throat hurts.. but even cherrios bother her. Gonna go buy some apple sauce later. Its nearly 1pm and she's eaten nothing.

I remember my throat hurting after i had my tubes in. I told my mom "they messed up, they hurt my throat, not my ears!"
I only ate frozen stuff for a few days, both times!

Yes, you should give her soft foods. They should have given you a list of some suggestions.
My dd liked Italian ices, pancakes, waffles, mac & cheese, etc. Did they give you ear drops to help ease the discomfort? Did she have her tonsils removed too?

See that's what has me angry (that and lack of sleep and hearing my child scream with no relief) ... they didnt say ANYTHING about this pain. no suggestions nothing.
Just her tubes tonsils still in.
Day 3 is over and it was better than yesterday but still no solid food. Today i conned her into having two yobaby yogurts .. broke rules and let her eat it outside her highchair and at her own pace while she played (she came to me when she wanted another spoonful) and some cut up cheese for dinner. *sigh*
ETA: that yogurt i got her to eat was 1pm.. she had NOTHING at all before then! just some milk.
