BTDT when you stopped bfing and pumping ?
How long did it take for the milk to dry up?
Im going onto my 3rd day of not pumping or bfing and one breast is a rock and extremely painful. And is feeling sick a normal reaction?

I'd say a total of about 3 weeks. I had to pump here and there to relieve the pressure. I'd pump a little bit like 2x per day, then 1x per day, then 1x every other day, and finally it stopped.

I tried.. i pumped morning and night and then just went to at night before bed (only would get 4ozs so used for her cereal), then the other day i was only get 1oz, so figured it was drying up and just stopped, but now im in sooo much pain.
Does the cabbage at night work?

I never used the cabbage. I'd say there was a day here or there that I was in pain, or I'd feel a lump, like just one area was filling up w/milk. I pumped until I was comfortable again compressing that spot until it felt empty. Just pump a little now. It will stop eventually

I stopped few days ago and it's been fine, I just very gradually decreased feeding and stopped pumping a week before that, they did dry up very fast, even though had sooo much milk.
You have to make sure that you don't get an infection from blocked ducts, just be careful, check your temperature and I would call the doc just to make sure that everything is ok. Try putting some cold cabbage leaves on your boobs to relieve pain and discomfort.

If you are spiking a fever and feeling ill, you could have mastitis. Warm shower and compresses should help but you may need antibiotics if it's an infection.

tried both still feeling sick. Im now going to just pump a bit and see if that helps. Figures today is my nephews bday party.. i missed last year b/c of morning sickness.

I'm still trying to wean off the pump - it's been a good month. Kellysmom recommended decreasing both the number of times you pump, and how long you pump. Now I'm down to 2x a day, 8 minutes each time. My goal was to be done by Easter, but I don't know if that is feasible.
I think you can also take a sudafed to dry up your milk.

10 days. It was very painful. I used cabbage leaves in my bra to help dry me up and relieve the pain...

i pumped some just to get the major rock out of the breast.. I still feel full in that breast and still a bit hard deep inside, but at least i got the major rock out. Its soo weird how the other breast is totally fine. Now i hope the sick feeling starts to subside.

Also you can take Tylenol if it hurts too much.

How are you feeling? I agree with the PP that you should watch out for infection. If you haven't previously read up on them, here's a link. Please call your Dr if you continue to feel poorly I hope you feel better soon.
