Bulletin board opinions!
I am going tomorrow to set up my classroom. I loved last year's bulletin board title "Math in Our World", but I don't want to use it again.
These are my thoughts so far -
~ Math is Fantastic! (hubby suggested it, I think it's a movie spinoff of something, with the emphasis on the FAN) ~ Math Maze
~ Laugh with Math
~ The Real World - Math
I really like the last one, but I teach 7th grade, so not sure if the correlation with an MTV show would be appreciated (they might not even get it).
Suggestions/thoughts???

hmmm how about "Harry Potter and the Pathogorean Theorm" (or quadratic equation- whichever)?
i'd probably do a spin of the math is fantastic.. something to do with the fantastic 4 i guess. but, i think when i was in 7th grade, i wasnt really impressed by Anything. i was just obnoxious

my 7th graders would get "The Real World " one- I think it's cute-engaging-since I think most of them would know of it and be able to relate to it! : )
what did you decide...

Re: Bulletin board opinions!
I ended up doing "Math is the Universal Language" to tie in to all of my ESL students this year. Totally dorky, but I think it will work.
Still hanging onto the Real World option for future use!
